Visitors from Sheffield

These are a few pics from the various visitors from sheffield that have come to Sevilla from Granada and Cadiz.

Enjoying some traditional spanish food!!

There is a feria de las naciones on in Sevilla at the moment and this is a photo of me eating a kangaroo sandwich!! There are stalls from each country (except england, apparently the spanish aren't a fan of us!) and you can try out each's delicacy. Am going back soon to try out more weird and wonderful things...

Nightlife en Sevilla

This is an open air club called Casino that we went to with other erasmus students one night. It was meant to be 30euros entrance fee but all the students had free tickets.

Flamenco

When Anna, Becca and Olivia came to stay from Granada, we all went to watch some flamenco. They looked in pain the whole way through and the stage they were dancing on looked like it was about to collapse! It was so loud and sitting on the front row was a little intimidating!

Mi casa

These are some pictures from my house. Its right in the centre, about 5minutes from the shops, and 10 from uni. I'm living with 15 other foreign students, 5 italian boys, 3 german girls and 1 german boy, 2 french girls and 1 french boy, and irish girl, a polish girl and a mexican boy. Its a massive 4 story building with 2 living rooms, 2 kitchens, 3 bathrooms, a terrace, washing room and spanish style hallway. Most people are sharing rooms but mine is individual.

Saludos de Sevilla....

So that you can all see what i'm up to during this year, i am creating this blog for you. As i didnt have a camera for the first part of it, you will have to imagine me on a beach in Cadiz, clear blue sea, gorgeous sand, 38 degree heat! :P This is a view of sevilla from the top of the cathedral, we had to walk up 34 floors to get there!
